ユンハンスは、古時計を語る上であまりにも有名です。明治時代の高級掛け時計の代名詞といっても過言ではないでしょう。素材・技術・精度、素晴らしい時計です。会社は現在も現役です。
写真のユンハンスは、明治時代に購入したものだそうですが、長い間蔵の中に眠っていたのを、うぶ出しでオーバーホールしたものです。
こまめに調整してあげると、正確にまだ時を刻んでいます。
この時計は、全長約１ｍ、縦長の箱型で「スリーゲル」と呼ばれるヨーロッパタイプの柱時計です。

Junghans is too famous for talking about old clocks .It might be no exaggeration to say that Junghans is synonymous with the luxury clocks in the Meiji Period in Japan.  Junghans Co. is still active now.
I hear that this Junghans was purchased and used in a country house in the Meiji Period, but it had been stored up for a long time, and it was taken out to overhauled. If it is adjusted sometimes, it is still ticking accurately.  
This clock is called “Sliegel”, a vertical boxy, typical European type clock.
